WUSN's Bright Departs:
Entercom WUSN/Chicago morning co-host Katie Bright has left after less than a year. She joined last July (Breaking News 7/17/19) after seven years with Warner/WMN, where she served as Dir./National Radio & Streaming Promotion. “After much consideration, I have decided to leave my job as the morning show co-host on Chicago’s US99,” Bright tells Country Aircheck. “I was presented with the opportunity a year ago and now know it wasn’t the right fit for me. I will be forever grateful for the unique opportunity to return to radio after being away for so long, and I’m leaving with the utmost respect for everyone at Entercom/Chicago and US99.” Prior to her time with Warner, Bright’s radio career included morning duties at WAXX/Eau Claire, WI and she was part of WSIX/Nashville’s The House Foundation. Reach Bright at 615-788-2203 or via email here. No word on plans for mornings at WUSN.
