Mariner Won: Former Cumulus WRKN (Nash FM)/New Orleans PD Ray Mariner has joined WEA as West Coast regional, succeeding Pat Surnegie, who exited in April (CAT 4/18). Mariner left Cumulus earlier this year (CAT 2/3) and joins the label with 10 years of pop promotion experience at Columbia (1993-2003). He also spent 10 years at then-Lincoln Financial Top 40 WSTR/Atlanta. Mariner starts today (6/27) and will relocate from New Orleans to Denver.
