Promotion vet Tom Starr has joined Warner Music Nashville's WAR as Mgr. Southeast Promotion. He succeeds Tom Martens, who was promoted to National in May (CAT 5/30). Starr is based in St. Louis for now, and has prior stops in Pop promotion at Interscope – where he worked with Martens – EMI/Capitol, Jive, MCA and Elektra, among others. Reach him here.
