KNTY Flipping Out:
Entravision KNTY/Sacramento will be flipping to a Regional Mexican format Monday (7/8). PD Tosh Jackson and MD/Promo Dir. Alex Guerra are remaining with the company through the end of the month; reach Jackson and Guerra here and here, respectively. Former midday host Kimmy Kay and night personality Tracy Leighann are also on the hunt and can be reached here and here, respectively. Nationally syndicated The Ty Bentli Show covered mornings; RJ McCoy tracked afternoons. May 2019 PPM results showed KNTY down 2.2 (16) to 2.0 (16) month-to-month, and down from 3.3 and 2.4 in May 2017 and 2018, respectively. The flip leaves Bonneville KNCI as the lone Country station in the market, which had three seven months ago (CAT 11/8).
