Hearin' The Reel World: Midwest Communications has launched WDWQ/Terre Haute, IN — "Q102.7, Terre Haute's New Choice for Country" — with former WFMS/Indianapolis personality Robb Reel as Brand Manager/afternoon driver. Midwest recently acquired 'DWQ from Crossroads Investments and flipped it from AC WBOW-FM. Q102.7 debuted Sunday morning (7/1) at 12am and is currently playing 10,000 songs in a row. The new air staff features morning personality  "Party Marty" Combs, who had previously spent 17 years in afternoons at Emmis' crosstown Country WTHI. Bill Cain and Laura Bradshaw are splitting middays and Mike Dubord rounds out nights. Reel tells Country Aircheck, "It's great to join forces with a committed radio company and someone with the caliber of talent and community connections of Party Marty." Reach out to Reel here.
