Life Note: The Oak Ridge Boys'
William Lee Golden is mourning the loss of his son,
William "Rusty" Golden, who passed July 1 at the age of 65. Golden posted on the group's site, "This is the hardest thing ever for a father to have to face. I love my family more than anything. Rusty was a great musician, a talented songwriter, and a wonderful son. We appreciate your thoughts and prayers for the days ahead. I love you, son.” The younger Golden played drums and keyboards, and was a songwriter on several No. 1 Southern Gospel songs. Memorial arrangements are pending.
