Chronicle: Veteran broadcast engineer/manager David Stewart passed away July 1. He was 63. Stewart started in radio in his hometown of Lubbock, TX. He joined Tichenor Media as Corp. Engineer in 1985. Through mergers and acquistions, he eventually became VP/Engineering for Univision Radio, a position he held until 2008. He purchased and began operating KPET-AM/Lamesa, TX in 2008.
