WYRK's Townsend Departs: Townsquare WYRK/Buffalo Clay & Company morning co-host Val Townsend has exited after nearly five years. Host Clay Moden and co-host Rob Banks remain. Townsend joined in Aug. 2016 after more than four years with crosstown Cumulus Classic Hits WHTT. Her prior stops include 11 years with then-Citadel Alternative WEDG/Buffalo, SUNY Genesee and Genesee Community College. Townsend shares her story about the departure in a thread via Twitter here.
