Shotgun Start: Midwest WNCY/Appleton-Green Bay, WI Dir./Digital Development and midday host Randy "Shotgun" Shannon moves to mornings with Charli McKenzie starting Monday (7/10). He succeeds Henry "The Bear" Goddard, who retired last month (CAT 6/23). Shannon tells Country Aircheck, "Getting up at 3am is a lot more fun if I get to hang out with Charli McKenzie on the radio. Anyone who has met her would agree. I'm very excited and happy to be working for a great company." Shannon was PD at the station from 1996-2006, then co-hosted mornings at KCYY/San Antonio and KWOF/Denver, returning five years ago. McKenzie has been wakeup co-host for 12 years at 'NCY.
