KPET Returns To Air: Dawson County Broadcasting KPET-AM & K235CZ/Lamesa, TX returned to the air last week. The station went dark last year following the death of owner David Stewart (CAT 7/11/23). The station still faces creditor arrears of $125,000, with new co-owner Fred Morton selling off excess equipment and launching a GoFundMe to help pay down the debt. Local coverage here.
