I Can't Quit You: Cumulus WIVK/Knoxville, TN has named Tony Randall and Kris Rochester to succeed Andy Ritchie and Alison Mencer for wakeups starting Monday (7/17). “Andy & Alison left an indelible mark on Knoxville radio," says PD Nikki Thomas. "They will be a hard act to follow." Randall says, “When we hung it up in May, we couldn't have imagined this incredible opportunity would present itself." Rochester chimes in, “I knew if I was going to come back to radio it would have to be to a proven winner of a station, with an amazing team involved." Mencer and Ritchie announced they were stepping away after 20 years last month (CAT 6/7). United Stations Radio Networks' syndicated Tony & Kris morning show ended May 26 after eight years in Nashville (CAT 5/18). They spent 15 years in San Diego at KSON and KUSS and teamed up 25 years ago at WHMA/Gadsden, AL.
