Chronicle: Scripps KTTS/Springfield, MO PD Mark Grantin has died after a six-year battle with cancer. As reported yesterday (CAT 7/11), doctors had recently discovered the disease had spread following a second surgery to address a cancerous lesion on his brain. He passed late last night. Grantin joined KTTS eight years ago after stops including WBUL/Lexington, KY and WWQM/Madison. Services are pending. Offer condolences through Grantin's Facebook page here.
