Squach And Learn: Seven Mountains Sports WVPO-AM/Stroudsburg, PA and its FM translator at W27DG (103.1) have flipped to Country as “Bigfoot Country.” Former WCTO/Allentown, PA morning host Becca Lynn has signed on as PD/afternoons, and Silverfish Media/Compass nationally syndicated Big D & Bubba can be heard in mornings. Seven Mountains purchased WVPO and Hot AC sister WSBG from Connoisseur Media last August for $1.1 million. The company operates five additional “Bigfoot” branded Country stations across eleven frequencies in PA. WVPO is positioned to bring local competition to WCTO, which drew a 9.0 (2) in last month’s CDM ratings (CAT 6/22). Lynn departed WCTO last September (CAT 9/10/19) after more than 15 years.
