Mule Be Hearing From Him:
On the heels of his departure from Westwood One syndicated The Blair Garner Show (see above), Garner and husband Eric Garner are directing their attention to completing a venture they started two years ago, The Mulehouse in Columbia, TN, approximately 40 miles south of Nashville. “We will be the first American music venue built specifically in support of concert streaming,” Garner tells Country Aircheck.
Construction is already underway at the 55,500 square foot former Baptist church, and the Garners have targeted a March 2021 completion date. “There on stage, I’ll be hosting live interviews mixed with performances,” continues Garner. “Think Inside The Actor’s Studio mixed with Austin City Limits.” Michael Oppenheimer, who previously served as then-Clear Channel/Memphis Market Mgr., signed on with the Garners nearly a year ago and is serving as GM for The Mulehouse. “He’s knee-deep in the construction and strategic partnership development phase right now,” says Garner. The venue will host additional streaming events, as well. Reach Garner here.
