Phil The Bill: Saying he's excited to "build on [CMG Radio's] success, deepen audience connections across platforms and create remarkable content that matters," former Alpha Media EVP/Content Phil Becker joins Cox Media Group in the newly-created role of VP/Audience & Content Growth, effective July 20, as reported earlier today (7/14) via Breaking News. His job encompasses broadcast, streaming, podcasting, social media and emerging platforms. Cox's Country stations include WWKA/Orlando, WHKO/Dayton, and KCYY and Classic Country KKYX/San Antonio. Becker departed Alpha after more than a decade last year following its merger with Connoisseur (CAT 9/3/25).
