ford71524.jpg Wolf Whistle: Connoisseur WWWF/Nassau-Suffolk adds Country radio veteran Kelly Ford for afternoons, effective Aug 1. The station launched as "103.1 The Wolf" in March (CAT 3/20). Ford will be based in New York, but will fly back and forth to Nashville, where she continues to host Key Networks and Beasley Broadcast Group's syndicated Backstage Country, which is heard in 80 markets. Ford previously did mornings at WNSH/New York, KYGO/Denver and was part of the Westwood One-syndicated Ty, Kelly & Chuck show. WWWF PD Patrick Shea says Ford's "enthusiasm and dedication to country music are evident, and we know she will be a fantastic addition to our team."
