Bits & Pieces: Radio One, iHeartMedia, Chris Stapleton

Bits & Pieces: Miranda Lambert, Jon Pardi, Dierks Bentley and Corey Kent are among the artists participating in the Pat Green and Friends: Texas Flood Relief Livestream benefit show at Globe Life Field in Arlington, TX, tomorrow (7/16) at 6:30pm CT. No audience will be in attendance, but the show will livestream here. All proceeds will be distributed to Kerr County Relief, TEXSAR and the Do It For Durrett Foundation via The Pat Green Foundation. The July 4 flood claimed the lives of Green’s younger brother, John, John’s wife, Julia, and their two young sons.

Radio One/Houston, including Country KKBQ, partnered with Kroger and the Salvation Army for Operation Hydration July 13, and collected more than 42,000 pounds of bottled water and essential supplies for flood relief in central Texas.

iHeartMedia has launched its "Thank A Teacher" campaign in partnership with education nonprofit DonorsChoose. The program, which runs through Aug. 29, will spotlight more than 1,500 public school teachers on-air and award $25,000 in classroom supplies to five teachers. Nominate teachers here. As part of the partnership, iHeart will donate $500,000 worth of PSAs to promote the mission of DonorsChoose.

Chris and Morgane Stapleton's Outlaw State of Kind charitable fund has donated $1 million to support national and local organizations providing flood relief in Texas. In March, they donated the same amount to help with flood relief efforts in Kentucky.
