KUPL Cuts: Alpha KUPL/Portland, OR MD/9am-to-noon host Danny Dwyer, noon-to-3pm host Jake Byron and cluster Dir./Marketing Karli Sann have exited. Dwyer had been with the station since 1998, and had also spent time in afternoons and as APD. Byron spent 16 years with the station in mornings before cutbacks in 2020. He re-joined in 2021. Sann had been with the seven-station cluster for three years. No word on plans for the positions. Alpha is currently operating under an LMA pending purchase by Connoisseur. Dwyer tells Country Aircheck, "I've gotten to do some amazing things over the years, and worked with some amazing people, but I'm not done."
