Night Riders:
Clear Channel WTQR/Greensboro, NC morning team Tige Rodgers and Daniel Baker will leave that show next week to host a new syndicated night show for the company. They will remain based in Greensboro as WTQR and WKSL/Raleigh PD Todd Nixon oversees content. Affiliates will retain their local playlists. The new show will not fall under the Premiere umbrella. Initial stations include WTQR, WSIX/Nashville, WKSL/Raleigh, WSCG/Augusta, GA and WTNT/Tallahassee, FL. On 'TQR, the show replaces Dusty Panhorst, who has been voice-tracking the shift from St. Louis. Nights on WSIX have been handled by part-time staff. On WKSL, the show replaces Carson, who had been handling the daypart in addition to her midday responsibilities on Top 40 clustermate WDCG, where she remains. T&D replace Premum Choice's Michael J on 'TNT. No word on how nights had been handled on WSCG. As for WTQR mornings, Premiere's The Bobby Bones Show will be added. Reach Tige & Daniel here.
