Give It Back: Entercom is divesting Country WXTU/Philadephia to Beasley for $38 million, marking the second time the station has come under Beasley ownership. Concurrently, Entercom is aquiring AC WBEB from Jerry Lee Communications for $57.5 million. The stations ranked sixth (5.7) and third (8.5) among Persons 6+ in Nielsen Audio's most recent PPM survey, respectively. WXTU left the Beasley fold in a 2014 swap with CBS Radio (CAT 10/2/14), which merged with Entercom last year (CAT 11/17). Beasley begins operating 'XTU again via LMA on Monday (7/23). Both transactions are expected to close at the end of the third quarter.

Hot Air: No one is commenting officially, but WXTU PD Shelly Easton is expected to remain with Entercom. Look for 'XTU APD/MD Mark Razz to handle interim programming for the station upon its move to Beasley.
