Chronicle: Bumstead
Chronicle: FBMM Co-Founder Frank Bumstead passed away at age 83 Sunday (7/20) in Nashville. Bumstead founded FBMM with Mary Ann McCready, John McCarthy and the late Chuck Flood in 1990. He served on the CMA Board for 12 years through 2021, holding various leadership positions, including president in 2014 and chairman in 2015. “Frank cared deeply about this industry and the people in it, whether you were a client or not,” says CMA CEO Sarah Trahern. "He helped lead several important initiatives that positioned CMA for long-term growth and stability." FBMM will continue to be led by owners Julie Boos, David Boyer, Jamie Cheek, Duane Clark, Jen Conger, Dan Killian, Carmen Romano and Erica Rosa. Services are being planned.
