Crazy Train: Last night’s (7/21) Country Radio Hall of Fame induction ceremony wasn’t just an homage to seven new legends — Ginny Rogers Brophey, Clay Hunnicutt, Gregg Swedberg, Big D & Bubba, Josh "Rowdy Yates" Holstead and Mary McCoy — and 2025 CRB President’s Award recipient Jon Loba, it was a celebration of radio itself. A night less about ratings and titles and more about honoring the human connections and enduring impact of Country radio. “The most rewarding part of my career hasn’t been the awards or accolades," said McCoy, who holds the Guinness World Record for the longest career as a female radio presenter. "It’s been the relationships. Radio may have changed in technology, but at its heart, it remains a profoundly human experience.” Full recap in Monday's (7/28) Country Aircheck Weekly.
