Free Trade: Connoisseur Media is selling WFRE/Frederick, MD and sister News/Talk/Sports station WFMD to Local Daily Media (LDM) of Williamsburg, VA for $4.275 million. A subsidiary of Davis Media, LDM currently operates four stations in two markets – Wilmington, NC, and the Williamsburg region. These include Wilmington Country stations WNTB and WBQK. Says Connoisseur CEO Jeffrey Warshaw, "While it is difficult for us to part with our Frederick stations, we were convinced that Local Daily Media’s management leadership and its focus in the Maryland/Virginia region could move these stations forward in a way we would be proud of."
