Back On Tulsa Time: Former Midwest/Fargo, ND Brand Mgr. and Country KVOX PD Karla Cantrell has joined iHeartMedia KTGX/Tulsa as PD/midday personality. She succeeds Kristina Carlyle, who exited in May (CAT 5/16). It's a return to the market where Cantrell spent 16 years as PD/middayer at Cox KWEN. "It's hot," she tells Country Aircheck. "But I'm really happy to jump back in the Tulsa market and my family is thrilled." In a memo to staff, OM Don Cristi said, "Her depth of knowledge of the format is surpassed only by her enthusiasm for the craft.
