KXKX's Matthews To Retire: Townsquare KXKX/Sedalia, MO morning host Beau Matthews will retire July 30 after seven years with the station and more than 46 in radio. Matthews spent most of his four-decades-long career in Missouri with stops in Butler, Clinton, Carrollton, Rolla and Kansas City, with one out-of-state stop in Springfield, IL. “At some point in our lives, we all have to make the decision to retire,” shares Matthews in a farewell announcement via the station website. “After discussion with my wife, I decided to end my radio career with [KXKX].” Reach him here through Friday (7/30).
