Mechanical Engineering:
The Mechanical Licensing Collective has added three to its executive team: Head/Finance Monique Benjamin, Head/Public Relations Natalie Kilgore and Head/Rights Management Maurice Russell. The MLC will begin issuing blanket licenses to U.S. digital streaming services in January 2021. "Monique, Natalie, and Maurice each possess many years of experience working in the music industry, they are recognized leaders in their fields and they are well-respected by their peers," says CEO Kris Ahrend. Benjamin's prior stops include PricewaterhouseCoopers, Word Entertainment and Warner/Nashville, where she eventually rose to SVP/Finance. Kilgore's experience includes helping launch in-house publicity for BMLG and BBRMG. Russell most recently served as CEO/Founder of consultancy firm Media Rights Management, in addition to his time on advisory groups at the U.S. Copyright Office and the U.S. Patent and Trade Office.
