Williams To Emmis/Indianapolis
Veteran radio executive Chuck Williams has been named SVP/MM for Emmis/Indianapolis, which includes Country WLHK. He succeeds Charlie Morgan, who was named Interim MM for the company's new York cluster earlier this year and led the Indianapolis cluster since 2009. "We've competed against Chuck throughout his career and always viewed him as a gifted, high integrity leader uniquely positioned to build on our foundation of success in Indianapolis," says Emmis President/COO Patrick Walsh. "We are thrilled he's agreed to lead our team in Indianapolis. With his deep knowledge of the Indianapolis radio market and the advertisers it serves, we expect him to jump right in and assist our talented team continue to grow and prosper." Williams joins after 11 years at Radio One's crosstown cluster. More later in Country Aircheck Today (8/9).
