Chapel Grown: Quartz Hill Music Group (QHMG) Founder/Pres. Benny Brown has acquired Wide Open Music Publishing and formed publishing venture North Chapel Music. Former Wide Open executive Paul Compton has been named EVP. QHMG Principal Partner Jason Sellers will add duties as Sr. Dir./Creative for the new venture, with Wendy Buckner named Dir./Creative, seguing from a day-to-day artist management role with QHMG division BSB Management. Wide Open was founded in 2013 by Steve Williams and Ash Bowers; the latter recently joined QHMG as EVP (CAT 7/9).

North Chapel is now home to Wide Open's catalog and roster: Jaron Boyer, Neal Coty, Matt Gorman, Joe Hanson, Joe Haydel, Lakelin Lemmings, Tim Owens, Chris Ray, Aaron Scherz, John Stephens and Nathan Woodard. Newly signed to North Chapel are Matt Cooper, Spencer Hatcher, Connor Hatcher, Sellers and Runaway June's Jennifer Wayne. Cooper, Spencer Hatcher and Wayne are QHMG-signed artists.
