Bits & Pieces: Jelly Roll, Miranda Lambert, Anne Wilson

Bits & Pieces: Jelly Roll has partnered with the Grand Ole Opry to perform two shows Sept. 22 in support of Nashville's Judge Dinkins Educational Center, which provides juvenile vocational training for at-risk adolescents, as well as the Buddy DeFord Charitable Fund, started to honor Jelly Roll's late father. Miranda Lambert's MuttNation Foundation and Tractor Supply Company awarded $255,000 in surprise grants to animal shelters as part of their joint "Mutts Across America" program. A foster-based rescue in every state got $5,000, along with one "wildcard" pick.

Anne Wilson raised more than $100,000 for tornado relief in her home state of Kentucky with the Aug. 11 benefit concert she headlined at Corbin Arena. Money went to The Sheppard Family Foundation and the Upper Cumberland Community Foundation. Watch the show on demand via Veeps here.
