Executive Orders: As reported via Breaking News, Audacy EVP/Programming Jeff Sottolano has been upped to EVP/Head of Programming as Chief Programming Officer Pat Paxton steps down and leaves the company. “Pat has been a key leader in the organization for the past 21 years, spearheading programming and playing a critical role in helping us build many of the industry’s greatest brands,” notes CEO David Field in an internal memo. “Jeff is a veteran team member, having spent his entire career at Audacy, Entercom, CBS Radio and Infinity. Since the merger, he has played an important leadership role overseeing a number of initiatives and many key elements of programming.” Sottolano joined the company in Dec. 2002 and was named to his most recent post last year (CAT 8/5/20). Paxton has been with the group since Aug. 1999.
