Austen Powers: Calling him "a class act, with trusted relationships across the industry, and a holistic understanding of both the creative and the commercial," Warner Chappell Music (WCM) Co-Chairs, CEO Guy Moot and COO Carianne Marshall, announced the appointment of Big Loud COO/Records & Publishing Austen Adams as Pres. of WCM/Nashville, as reported earlier today via Breaking News. Adams, who starts on Sept. 15, succeeds the late Ben Vaughn, who had been Pres./CEO until his January passing (CAT 1/30). Adams joined Big Loud in 2019 from the law firm of Dickinson Wright Music (CAT 8/29/19), and previously worked in day-to-day artist management. No word on plans for the position at Big Loud.
