Local Talent Out At WDAF: All local talent has been released at Audacy WDAF/Kansas City. Departing are APD/MD/morning co-host Codie Allen, morning host Zeke Montana and afternoon host Jeff "Shotgun" Jaxon. No word on plans for the positions or the station, though sources say a format change is unlikely.

Allen started her second run in mornings at 'DAF in 2012 (CAT 4/4/12). Reach her here. Montana joined in 2021, coming out of retirement after 32 years at crosstown KBEQ, 17 of them in mornings (CAT 8/26/21). Jaxon had been with the station since 2007 (CAT 5/31/07) after 14 years at crosstown KBEQ and will continue to work with the company's Chiefs Radio Network on a part-time basis. Reach him here.

WDAF tied for 10th with a 3.3 share in the July Nielsens, Steel City duo KBEQ and gold-based KFKF had a 3.2 and 3.3 respectively.
