Life Note: Splash! Public Relations' Vanessa Davis is mourning the loss of her mother, Elsie Parker, who died Aug. 16 at age 87 following battles with dementia and brain cancer. Visitation will take place at Paul Funeral Home in Washington, NC Aug. 23 at 11am, followed by a 12:30pm graveside service at Pamlico Memorial Gardens, also in Washington. A celebration of life will be held Sept. 24 at 3pm at Nashville's Bethel Church of the Nazarene.
