Bits & Pieces: WME, Jordan Davis
Bits & Pieces: WME's RJ and The Steps won the Aug. 18 Smitty Corporate Band Challenge, an annual fundraiser for Nashville's W.O. Smith Music School that pits bands from Nashville music companies against each other, judged by members of the city's creative community (CAW 8/4). With a repertoire that ranged from Garth Brooks to Evanescence, the group beat nine other bands, earning both a cash prize and an eight-foot-tall trophy.
Jordan Davis has partnered with Cracker Barrel to promote the restaurant chain’s “All The More” campaign, and will perform tomorrow (8/21) at the brand's "A Taste of Country, Anytime" event in New York City.
Elle King, Cody Jinks, Kristian Bush and BMG /BBR Music Group GM Peter Strickland are among this year’s judges for the International Songwriting Competition. Details here.
