Days Of The Zeke:
Former Steel City KBEQ/Kansas City morning host Zeke Montana has joined crosstown Audacy WDAF for mornings alongside incumbent co-host Codie Allen. Joshua James, who took mornings on an interim basis in 2019 (CAT 12/12/19), has exited. Montana’s addition rounds out a lineup that includes Ali Tuggle from 10am-12pm, nationally based Katie Neal from 12-3pm, Shotgun Jaxon with Tuggle in afternoons and nationally based Rob & Holly in nights. The move reunites Montana with WDAF OM/PD Mike Kennedy; the pair worked together at KBEQ prior to Kennedy’s 2016 retirement (CAT 9/28/16). “Feels good to be back,” shares Montana via Facebook. He retired from KBEQ in 2019 after 17 years in mornings and 32 total with the station (CAT 10/4/19), just one month after Kennedy resurfaced at WDAF (CAT 9/3/19). Reach Montana here.
