Old Flames Can't Hold A Candle To You: "Not sure I’ve ever seen a reaction like this in my career," says iHeartCountry EVPP Rod Phillips. Underscoring his comment is airplay data from Mediabase showing a massive surge placing five Dolly Parton songs in the top 100 Gold titles at Country radio on a partial day of airplay (her passing was announced at roughly 1pm CT). By contrast, the prior day, Parton's titles received a total of nine spins. The five rising titles – Top 100 Gold Rank, Title (Spins) – are:

• 16. "9 To 5" (332)
• 17. "Jolene" (324)
• 23. "I Will Always Love You" (275)
• 47. "Islands In The Stream" (216)
• 75. "Here You Come Again" (180)
