Music City Shuffle:

As first reported early this morning via Twitter and Facebook, Clear Channel's WSIX/Nashville has extended the contracts of morning co-hosts Billy Greenwood and Karla Lawson, locking down the pair for two more years. Greenwood tells Country Aircheck, "Stepping in behind someone like Gerry House is scary for anyone; we're thrilled to continue the Billy & Karla Show through 2013." There's other big news at 'SIX too, as former Sirius XM Prime Country and The Highway personality Amy Paige will join the station for middays beginning Sept. 6. This reunites Paige and WSIX PD Jon Anthony, with whom she worked at Sirius XM and WMZQ/Washington. Paige's position at the satcaster will be replaced, but the job is not yet posted. Current middayer Dean Warfield will move to evenings, which has been voice tracked by Ty Bentli out of Los Angeles. According to Anthony, Warfield's evening show will likely be a combination of live and tracked segments.
