iHeartMedia/Alabama's Hanrahan Departs: iHeartMedia/Alabama Area SVP/Programming Tom Hanrahan has exited after more than 20 years with the Birmingham cluster and 25 with the company. He worked in various capacities at several stations in Birmingham before his first programming role at WSTH/Columbus, GA in 1996. That was followed by a stint as PD at WPAP/Panama City, FL, where he rose to OM of the then-Clear Channel cluster. In 2002, he was named PD for WDXB and sister AC WMJJ, and in 2006 rose to OM for the then-Clear Channel/Birmingham cluster. No word on plans for the position. Reach him here.
