Hot Air: No one is commenting, but outgoing UMG/Nashville EVP/COO Mike Harris is expected to head Republic/Nashville, reporting to Monte and Avery Lipman. The long rumored Nashville arm of Republic signed Shania Twain as its first artist in 2022. As reported yesterday (9/5) via Breaking News, Harris is leaving the label at the end of the month. He joined as COO in 2016 (CAT 4/19/16) from Caroline, a division of Capitol. Previous stops include EMI Label Services, where he spent 15 years, and Sony's Relativity Records.
