Cale Named NSHoF Inductee

They Call Me The Breeze: The late JJ Cale will be inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame (CAT 8/6) in the Legacy category at the 55th Anniversary Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame Gala Oct. 6 at Nashville's Music City Center. His songs include “After Midnight” and “Cocaine," both famously covered by Eric Clapton; “Call Me The Breeze," which was later recorded by Lynyrd Skynyrd; and “Clyde," “Any Way The Wind Blows” and “The Sensitive Kind." As an artist, Cale released 16 albums, including Grammy-winning Clapton collaboration, The Road To Escondido.
