Bits & Pieces: While broadcasting their show from Walt Disney World, WIRK/West Palm Beach morning co-hosts Tim Leary and Chelsea Taylor interviewed the park's Senior Marketing Strategist Peco Pizarro, who revealed that listening to their show helped him learn English after arriving in the U.S. from Peru four years ago. That, in turn, helped him land the Disney job. Pizarro told the hosts, "You don’t know the impact you’re creating ... The fact that I am able to do magic here for the Hispanic audience ... Hudson Westbrook will host a hometown benefit show Nov. 1 at Tarleton State University’s EECU Event Center, benefiting the Erath County Junior Livestock Association. Show proceeds will go towards rebuilding facilities where local chapters of FFA and 4-H show their livestock. Find tickets here.
