Defying Gravity: Country KCOB-FM/Newton, IA and its three sister stations have been sold to Riverfront Broadcasting after former owners Connoisseur took them dark in June (CAT 6/11). According to local media, Riverfront plans to return at least two of the stations to the air next month. Riverfront previously picked up six Watertown, SD stations, including Country KSDR and Classic Country KLDO, from Connoisseur in May (CAT 5/13).
