Fitz To Be Tried:
Entercom KKWF (The Wolf)/Seattle morning personality Cory Fitz and his Fitz In The Morning wake-up show are now simulcast to the company's co-owned KWJJ/Portland, also branded as the Wolf. Fitz started on KWJJ Monday morning (9/10), succeeding 13-year station vets Mike Chase and Amy Faust, who exited last month (CAT 8/6). This isn't the first tour of double duty for Fitz, who was formerly heard on both Seattle's Wolf and then-Country sister station KBWF/San Francisco, prior to its flip to Sports in April '11. KWJJ PD Mike Moore tells Country Aircheck, "The Fitz show has done great things in Seattle on KKWF over the last six years and I am excited to watch it explode in Portland." Moore adds that Fitz's show will run the same in both markets, saying, "It's now really a Northwest-based show."
