Port(smouth) Authority: Hubbard WIRK/West Palm Beach APD/MD/afternoon host Sammy Cruise has been named Townsquare/Portsmouth, NH OM and Country WOKQ/Portsmouth & WPKQ/Portland, ME Brand Mgr. succeeding Robby Bridges, who is departing after less than a year in the market. "An amazing opportunity like this doesn't come along very often, and I'm very excited to get started," says Cruise. "I heard the weather isn't that different from Florida ... that's true, right?" Cruise joined Hubbard/West Palm in 2009 (CAT 5/26/09) and was upped to PD three years later (CAT 9/26/12). He remained in that position until February, when he stepped down to focus on afternoons (CAT 2/25); he added APD/MD duties in August (CAT 8/19). Reach Cruise here.

Bridges joined Townsquare/Portsmouth in January (CAT 1/3) and previously spent four years with Cumulus/Detroit (CAT 11/2/18). "Ultimately, I still haven't found what I'm looking for, so once I knew I wasn't going to stay for another year, we worked out the exit," he tells Country Aircheck.
