Tiger By The Tale: Saying the moves will have "tremendous impact to our roster," Triple Tigers Co-Founder George Couri has named SVP/Radio Promotion Kevin Herring and former UMG/Nashville SVP/Streaming Marketing Annie Ortmeier as Co-Presidents. Concurrently, Couri – who also founded and continues to work at Triple 8 Management – takes a more active role as the label's Managing Partner. Former Partner/President Norbert Nix has departed for his own endeavor Viscyrl, in partnership with The Orchard, which is also Triple Tigers' distribution partner.
"This is an amazing group of people and artists who are dedicated to making world class Country music and lifting up the artists, songwriters, format and community," Herring says. Ortmeier adds, "I have admired Triple Tigers and the incredible success they have had thus far, and am looking forward to being able to build upon that success."
The seven-year-old label's roster includes Russell Dickerson, Scotty McCreery and Jordan Fletcher. Reach Couri here, Herring here, Ortmeier here and Nix here.
