Claim To Fame: Ryman Hospitality Properties WSM-AM/Nashville morning host and Grand Ole Opry announcer Bill Cody and the company's Exec. Chairman of the Board Colin Reed will be among those receiving stars on the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp's Music City Walk of Fame Oct. 30. Fellow 2024 honorees are the late Jimmy Buffett (to be inducted by Mac McAnally) and gospel quartet The Fairfield Four. Inductees are recognized for preserving the musical heritage of Nashville. Reed and Cody are being honored to mark the Opry's 100th anniversary.
