
Chronicle: Singer/songwriter Tommy Cash passed away Sept. 13. He was 84. Like his older brother Johnny, Tommy served in the military and worked as a DJ before embarking on his music career. He released his first single in 1968, and scored three top 10s in the early '70s. While he continued to tour into the 2010s, he also worked in real estate. No word on services.

Video producer/filmmaker James "Jim" May passed Sept. 9. He was 78. May worked in advertising producing TV commercials and directed the videos for Alan Jackson's "Here In The Real World" and Kathy Mattea's "Eighteen Wheels And A Dozen Roses" and "Where've You Been."
