University of Virginia student/alumni-owned Urban WUVA/Charlottesville, VA will flip to Country at 12pm tomorrow (9/18) as "92.7 Nash Icon." Programming and local mornings will be handled by Rick Miller, whose prior stops include WKSJ/Mobile, WDTW/Detroit and WDAF/Kansas City. Afternoons will be covered locally by market vet Helen Powers; Westwood One's Nash Icon offering will air in the other dayparts. WUVA's 700W Class A signal will compete with Monticello's WCYK, a 3.3kW Class B. More here.
