The iHeart Of Texas: Former Univision/Austin Pres./GM Christine Escobar has been named Market Pres. for iHeartMedia/Austin, which includes KASE & KVET. Concurrently, iHeartMedia/San Antonio SVP/Sales Rosie Perez, whose oversight includes KAJA & KRPT, rises to Market Pres. Both markets had been under the direct purview of Reg. Pres. Amy Leimbach since last December (CAT 12/4/23); both Escobar and Perez will report to her. Additionally Austin SVP/Sales George Fiora moves to the same role in Dallas. Escobar spent nearly two decades at Univision, where she started as an account executive. Perez has been with the company since 2000, and started as a sales assistant in Los Angeles before moving to San Antonio in 2002. Fiora is on his second tour with the company, having returned to Austin last year and previously spending time in similar roles in Phoenix and Los Angeles.
