Senior Support: Nashville-based nonprofit Music Health Alliance (MHA) has created a healthcare fund and program to address the medical needs of senior music industry veterans and legacy artists. A financial assist from Christian music artist Lauren Daigle's The Price Legacy Fund will allow MHA to expand its team of senior care advocates, and provide grants to cover healthcare expenses for those in need – including prescriptions, rehabilitation and short-term home healthcare not covered by Medicare or other plans. MHA says aging music professionals and legacy music makers aged 65 and older are one of the fastest-growing vulnerable populations in terms of healthcare access and support. More info here.
